A Michigan-based
orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Ryan Shephard specializes in hip replacement surgeries.
He received his undergraduate degree in exercise
and health sciences with honors from Alma College in 2006 and completed
his medical degree at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine
in 2010. He finished his residency in orthopedic
surgery at McLaren Macomb in Mt. Clemens, MI, in 2015.
A passionate
music lover, Dr. Ryan Shephard was a part of the state honors choir in high
school and received a vocal scholarship in college. Today, he still plays
instruments for community bands and events and sings and plays guitar for his
local church and community choir.
Dr. Ryan
Shephard is the father of two sons and a daughter. His family enjoys a varied array of seasonal
outdoor activities throughout the year as well as sports including soccer,
volleyball, softball, kayaking, football, and swimming.
